I know there is so much controversy between chiropractic and medical care, but if it were not for chiropractic I would still be in pain. A car accident left me with constant lower back pain. I tried everything from painkillers to preparing to have surgery. I heard stories from my friends who had surgery and to this day wish they never had it. So I decided to go to a chiropractor before the surgery and I am so thankful that I did. My back pains are gone and I am living my life to the fullest and pain free.

The spinal adjustment is the predominant factor in providing chiropractic care for your condition.  The adjustment, however, may not be the only procedure we prescribe in the course of your treatment and case management.

Forms of physiologic therapeutics which involve ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, traction, neuromuscular massage therapy, nutritional, and dietary management are all known to have specific physiological influence on the body.

During the inital phase, and into the rehabilitative phase of patient care, ultrasound may be added into the treatment plan. Ultrasound uses inaudible, high-frequency sound waves to create a heat response within the internal structures of the body. This is used to facilitate the breakdown of scar tissue, reduce muscle spasms, swelling, and stiffness, and to improve blood flow to the injured area in order to promote a faster healing response.
